Bamberg Nursing Center Quilting Club

Greetings from the Bamberg Nursing Center Quilting Club to all of our supporters of the past year.

The quilting club is launching a fabric drive .The need to keep a stock of throws is always present . Not to mention the quilts to raffle off to benefit the residents activities. Every one can not quilt maybe but, maybe we all have a yard or two of fabric to donate to others that can and will take the time to do so.

Your support has been terrific in the past and we are counting on you all again this year to show your Christain love to those of us in need. We can use all fabric but silk, wool, satins or heavy materials. But most else is used and greatly appreciated.

We thank Mrs. Margie Carter along with daughters Gloria, Anna, Celestine and Mrs. Joyce Donaldson for their recent contributions.

Thanks to Mrs. Searson and our home town newspaper for their support.

Drop offs can be done Monday thru Friday at the center between nine a.m. and four thirty p.m. or call 245-3955. Thanking you all in advance.

Mrs. Sallie McMillan/Secretary

Speed Trap?

Dear Editor,

On Hwy. 321 coming in to Denmark from Norway the yellow sign pointing 45 mph ahead but the next sign is a 35 mph sign?

Now is that a speed trap? I wonder how many drivers have noticed this and how many got speeding tickets? Or does the highway dept. know they put up the wrong sign?
