Both Holder And Obama Need Firing

The National Rifle Association (NRA) Executive Director Chris W. Cox said recently at NRA’s Celebration of American Values that there may be some confusion over what these American Values are.

Cox defined them as the freedom to worship as we choose, to speak as we choose, to associate with whomever we choose and to enjoy life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

“We mean the core principles that make us uniquely American, the freedoms passed down to us by our Founding Fathers and guaranteed by our Constitution. And most importantly we mean our most fundamental freedom which is our right to keep and bear arms,” Cox said.

No doubt that these values are worth fighting for and it will take some good honest people who are willing to do whatever it takes to defend our American freedoms. Most every day a new attack on our values appear with many of them from the Obama administration.

President Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder said in 1995, “What we need to do is change the way in which people think about guns. We need to brainwash people into thinking about guns in a vastly different way.” Not a good statement coming from our U.S. Attorney General. We have a Constitutional right to keep and bear arms.

Cox goes on to say that Holder has been trying to push his feelings about gun ownership in speeches for many years even after Obama named him as his Attorney General. The bigger the lie the more people believe it.

Many of us have heard the story about government agents who illegally smuggled thousands of guns to Mexican drug cartels. The Obama administration tried to cover up what happened on our southwest border by trying to blame NRA members and the Second Amendment so that their gun control agenda could be advanced.

Since this happened none of Eric Holder’s henchmen have been fired and some of them have been promoted. “President Obama needs to fire Eric Holder and this November we need to fire President Obama,” Cox said.

Let’s look at Obama’s two appointees to the U.S. Supreme Court Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan. You know how they voted on Obamacare and that alone tells you how liberal they are. If Obama is elected for a second term most likely he will appoint three more justices to the high court and that will give us a liberal supreme court for many years with a 6-3 majority.

If this happens the Second Amendment will be reduced to government granted privileges not a God given birthright and at the legislative, legal and practical levels we would be set back as a free nation for many years.

We need to elect a president in November who will nominate justices who will preserve the liberties given to us in our Constitution. And we need a U.S. Senate who will only confirm justices who will support our Constitution. We are going to have to make sure that we vote for a new president in November and that we get our family and friends out to vote as well.

We also need to remember that our president has shown in the past that he will say and do most anything to get elected again in November. Obama and Eric Holder have done things that have hurt the security of our country. Once friendly nations now do not trust us any longer. He has made decisions as our commander in chief that have weakened our military.

Our great nation is in trouble. We will never see anything close to a balanced budget with Obama and the liberal elected officials in office. He spends our hard earned dollars as if the government could make all the money they wished to.

In conclusion President Obama needs to fire Eric Holder now and we concerned Americans need to fire Obama in November.
