Mrs. Zula B. Bair, 90, of The Methodist Oaks, Orangeburg, died Sunday, January 30, 2011, at The Methodist Oaks in Orangeburg. A graveside service was held Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens in Orangeburg. She was born Sunday, January 16, 1921, in Smoaks, the daughter of the late Lonnie Kinsey and the late Eva Thompson Kinsey. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and the widow of Eldred E. Bair.

Joseph ‘Joey’ H. Belger, Jr., 51, of Grove City, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 18, 2011. He was born in Orangeburg on February 17, 1959, to Joseph ‘Joe’ H. Belger, Sr. and Dorothy Ann McMillan Belger.

Mr. Robert Manning ‘R. B.’ Brabham, 66, of Olar, died Saturday, February 5, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 9, 2011. R. B. was born September 25, 1944 in Bamberg County and was a son of the late Lewis Osborne Brabham, Sr. and Marie Smoak Brabham. He was an electrician and a farmer and a member of Mizpah United Methodist Church.

A memorial service for Louis E. Greggs of Denmark was held Thursday afternoon, February 3, 2011 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Blackville.

Mrs. Betty Josephine Mizell Hunter, 72, of NHC Health Care, Charleston, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011, at NHC Health Care. The funeral was held Friday, February 4, 2011, at Hunters Chapel Baptist Church in Bamberg. she was born May 13, 1938, in Summerville to Bessie Myers Mizell and the late Rene A. Mizell. She was a member of Hunters Chapel Baptist Church.

Brian ‘Cowboy’ Marchant, 61, of Thomson, Ga., entered into rest Wednesday, February 2, 2011. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 5, 2011, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Lincolnton, Ga. Mr. Marchant was born in Charleston and was the son of the late Leonard S. Marchant and the late Frances Murray Marchant. He was a 1967 graduate of Carlisle Military School.

The funeral service for Rosa L. McMillian, 58, of Bamberg, formerly of Denmark, was held Sunday, February 6, 2011, at St. Marys Church of God, Denmark. She died Thursday, February 3, 2011, at Bamberg County Hospital. She was born October 4, 1952, to the late Flossie Odom and Earnest Johnson in Bamberg County.

Services for Frank Lee Moody, 64, of Denmark, were held Wednesday, February 2, 2011, in St. Matthews Church of Deliverance, Denmark. Mr. Moody died Friday, January 28, 2011, at Providence Hospital, Columbia. He was born March 15, 1946, in Bamberg, to Frank and Mary Alice Glover Moody. He attended the public schools of Bamberg County.

Mrs. Crosswell, 100, was born in Timmonsville November 9, 1910, the wife of the late Hal Holland Crosswell, Sr., and the daughter of the late William Granderson and Catherine Ducom Fort. She attended Winthrop College. She was an active and loyal member of Shandon United Methodist Church for over 60 years and enjoyed singing in the Chancel and Celebration Choirs and the Shandon Singers. Funeral service were held Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2011, at the Shandon United Methodist Church in Columbia.
