Funeral services for Eartha M. Lee, 78, of Rowesville, were held Saturday, December 5, 2009, in Thankful Baptist Church in Bamberg. Born September 22, 1931, in Bamberg County, she was the daughter of the late Tessie Lee.

Garth Wayne "Red" Thomas, of Ehrhardt, formerly of Fairfax, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 4, 2009, after a short illness at University Hospital in Augusta, Ga. A memorial service was held Wednesday, December 9, 2009. Mr. Thomas was born March 30, 1929, in Fairfax and was a son of the late Lenwood Rizer Thomas Sr. and Margaret Viola Darley Thomas.

Funeral services were held at the Social Union Baptist Church in Nashville, NC for former resident of Ehrhardt on November 23, 2009. Larry Walker was the first born to the late Nathaniel Walker, Sr. and McKeller Mae Walker on April 13, 1950 in Ehrhardt.
