Mr. Orie Benjamin Bonnette, 75, of Bamberg, passed away Wednesday evening, September 30, 2009, at his residence. Memorial services were held Sunday, October 4, 2009 at First Baptist Church of Bamberg. Mr. Bonnette was born in Orangeburg, a son of the late Ernest Walter and Ruth Workman Bonnette.

Funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Botford, 67, of Bamberg, were held Thursday, October 1, 2009, at Union Baptist Church, Bamberg.

Funeral services for Isaac J. Porter, "Lil Ike", 28, of Bamberg were held Saturday, October 3, 2009 in the Greater Sidney Park Baptist Church, Bamberg. He was born May 7, 1981 in Orangeburg to Deborah Porter and Larry Johnson.

Mrs. JoAnn Hightower Williams, 72 and widow of A. J. Williams of the Holman's Bridge Community died October 3, 2009 at her home. Mrs. Williams was born February 13, 1937 in Lees, a daughter of the late W. E. (Bill) Hightower and Earlene Delk Hightower. Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 6, 2009, at Ghents Branch Baptist Church.
