Special thanks to the citizens of Bamberg County

Dear Editor,

Bamberg County Community Pride, Denmark Technical College, Voorhees College and Rep. Bakari Sellers, House District 90 thanks the 900 or more citizens for participating at the second annual Back-to-School Bash, Health, Safety, and Community Information Day at Denmark- Olar High School, Denmark on August 8 from 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. More than 560 educational supply bags were distributed to students based on the local schools’ educational supplies list.

We are especially grateful to all the participating donors.

A special thanks to local businesses and citizens for donating more than 300 gift certificates for door prizes, educational supplies and refreshments.

And many thanks to all the Exhibitors.

No words can express the gratitude of more than 81 volunteers. The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention. We hope to see citizens and exhibitors on August 14, 2010.
