Crosby-Williams wed

Ashley Elaine Crosby and Willis Donald Williams, Jr., both of Jamison, S.C., were united in marriage on Saturday, February 28, 2009, at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church in Jamison.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James E. (Kaye) Crosby, Jr., of Cordova, S.C. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Betty Phillips of Orangeburg, S.C. and the late Mr. Fred Phillips; Mr. James Crosby, Sr. and the late Mrs. Barbara Crosby.

The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Donnie (Shannon) Williams of Jamison; Mrs. Rose Jernigan of Branchville, S.C. and the late Mr. Mike Jernigan of Smoaks, S.C. He is the grandson of Mrs. Shirley Williams of Jamison and the late Mr. Wayne Williams; Mrs. Polly Amaker of St. Matthews, S.C. and the late Mr. Fred Amaker.

Arden Elaine Still

Brent and Roxanne Still of Barnwell announce the birth of their daughter, Arden Elaine Still, Feb. 7, 2009 in University Hospital weighing 6 lbs.

Maternal grandparents are Donald and Judy Brandt of Ehrhardt and the late Janice Brandt of Olar.

Paternal grandparents are Johnny and Annie Laura Still of Denmark.

Maternal great-grandparents are Billy and Joyce Nettles of Walterboro.

Ashton Ross Ponds

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Ponds of Lodge, S.C., proudly announce the birth of their son, Ashton Ross Ponds, born February 14, 2009, at home. He weighed 9 lbs./12 ozs. and was 22 inches in length. Ashton is welcomed home by his sister, Charlotte Mae Ponds, age 6 yrs. and brothers: Charles Michael Ponds, Jr., age 4 yrs. and Austin Wade Ponds, age 2 yrs., all of Lodge.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Bill Burdick of Lodge. Great grandmother is Mrs. Marian Hammond of New Smyrna Beach, FL.
