Aden Heyward Stillinger

Mr. and Mrs. Casey (Holly) Stillinger of Cope, proudly announce the birth of their son, Aden Heyward Stillinger, born November 16, 2008, at The Lexington Medical Center. He weighed 7 lbs./11 oz. and was 21 inches in length.

Maternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Dean (Dale) Sanders of Cope. Great Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Russell (Vera) Wood of Orangeburg, Mrs. Betty Sanders of Cope and the late Mr. Billy F. Sanders.

Paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Laverne (Laura) Stillinger of Denmark. Great-grandparents are Mrs. Annie Ruth Crider and the late James Heyward Crider of Bamberg and the late Mr. and Mrs. Grover (Zelma) Stillinger of Denmark.

Sidney Grace Campbell

Joey and Amanda Campbell of Ehrhardt proudly announce the birth of their little daughter, Sidney Grace, on October 22, 2008 at the Orangeburg Regional Medical Center. Sidney weighed 7lbs. 6ozs., and was 20 inches long. Her maternal grandmother is Mrs. Debbie Sanders of Round O, S. C. Her maternal great grandparents are Mrs. Cora Cooke and the late Mr. Berry Cooke and Mr. and Mrs. John Bunch of Holly Hill. Paternal grandparents are Willy and Jane Campbell of Ehrhardt. Paternal great grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. G. B. Bassett of Fairfax and the late Mr. Stancel Ayer, the late Mr. and Mrs. Wingard Kinard and the late Tom Campbell of Ehrhardt.

Spell celebrates 90th birthday

Elizabeth Spell celebrated her 90th Birthday when her children honored her with a birthday drop-in at her home on Sunday, December 7th. Margie Cook greeted the ninety-two well wishers in attendance with party favors. Guest came from Bamberg, Olar, Orangeburg, Barnwell, Greenwood, Charleston, Yemessee and Aiken, while others came from Savannah and Marietta, Georgia and from the state of California.

Mrs. Spell said she had a wonderful time celebrating her 90th birthday with friends and family. She looks forward to many more years of working in her flower and vegetable garden outside. God has truly blessed her and she thanks him!!
