Two Car Collision in Bamberg |

Two Bamberg men were able
to walk away without injury from
a two vehicle accident that left
one vehicle flipped on its roof,
Friday.
According to the Bamberg
Police Department’s South
Carolina Traffic Collision Report
Form, At 3:35 p.m. on Friday
September 26, Dustin Allen
Callahan, 17 of Bamberg was
proceeding north on Carlisle
Street when his 1995 Jeep Sport
Utility Vehicle was struck in the
side by a 1993 Ford car driven by
Dallas Edward Proveaux 27 of
Bamberg causing Callahan’s
vehicle to flip on its roof.
According to the traffic collision
report Proveaux’s car was heading west on Third Street
when he ran the stop sign and
struck Callahan’s vehicle in the
side causing it to flip on its roof.
According to a police department
spokesperson no one was
charged in the accident.
The Bamberg Police
Department, Bamberg Fire
Department, and EMS responded
to the scene.
