According to the release the alleged suspect, who is a Voorhees freshman student, has been apprehended. The suspect is now in custody with the Denmark City Police Department. The investigation is still pending. The suspect’s act of having a gun in possession while on campus property warrants immediate expulsion from the institution. “We have a zero-tolerance policy for guns and weapons,” said President Sellers. “There are severe consequences if weapons are found on our students.”
