Mary Graves, 94, of Bamberg, died Friday, April 11, 2008, at Bamberg County Hospital.

Joseph Toomer died Monday, March 21, 2008. He was born and raised in Denmark. Mr. Toomer moved to Philadelphia, in 1959. He worked there and retired in 1988. After retiring, he and his wife relocated to Las Vegas in 2001.

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Lee Bishop White, 81, of Allendale, was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2008, in the Happy Home Baptist Church. She was born May 9, 1926, in Barnwell County, a daughter of the late Girlie Thompson Bishop and the late Henderson Bishop.
