Mallory D. Biering, Staff Reporter

"Christmas is the season
to give. As operator and cooperator,
we decided that it
would bring us a better feeling
to give to a child who may not
have as much as we do," said
Pamela D. Biering, Co-
Operator of Denmark Piggly
Wiggly, when explaining the
employee toy give away their
employees helped to
sponsored. Operator Bubba
Coker asked all employees to
bring gifts to their Christmas
Party, and those who came did
bring gifts.
Coker said the gifts
included toy guns, dolls, tea
sets, cars, learning toys, and so
much more. The team at, "the
Denmark Pig, really pulled
together, and I'm glad to know
we have such caring
employees. It is a great feeling
knowing I get to work with
people who will take the time
and spend a little extra on a
total stranger," said Coker.
Biering asked the
Denmark Police Department to
help distribute to needy
families in the Denmark area,
and Officer Ransom from the
Denmark Police Department
arrived to help Denmark
Piggly Wiggly employees
Biering and Grocery Manager
Chris Johnson load the toys in
the police car. Ransom and his
fellow officers were able to
distribute the toys before
Christmas day to the children
all over Denmark.
Coker and Biering wanted
to not only thank their
employees for their Christmas
spirit this past season, but also,
"the community of Denmark
and surrounding areas for their
support and continued
patronage. From our Pig
Family to yours, Happy New
Year."
