Mr. Isadore English, 86, of Denmark, died Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Barnwell County Hospital. Services will be announced at a later date.

Kyllia Lynett Holback, 33, of Branchville, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at her residence. Funeral plans are incomplete and will be announced later.

Homegoing services for the late MaeDell Dora Gordon Johnson were held on Monday, June 4, 2012 in Brooklyn, New York. MaeDell (Cookie) was born November 23, 1940 in Bamberg S.C. to the late Jake and Mary Lee Kizer Gordon. The eldest of eight children, she was educated in the public schools of Bamberg and was employed at Owners Maintenance Corporation for 24 years. A very special lady, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, great-aunt and godmother, she was loving, caring, nonjudgmental, supportive and dependable. MaeDell loved life and lived it to the fullest.

Wayne W. McAlhany, 58, of Branchville, died Sunday, June 10, 2012. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 13. Mr. McAlhany was born in Orangeburg, a son of the late Tom Clint McAlhany Sr. and Francine Sprawls McAlhany. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. He was employed by Orangeburg County Public Works Department.

Walter C. Robinson III, 12, of Bamberg, died Sunday, June 10, 2012, at his residence. Services will be announced at a later date.

Ralph Fulmer Smoak, 82, Bamberg, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. The funeral was held Tuesday, June 12. Mr. Smoak was born May 20, 1930, in Bamberg, to the late Counts Smoak and the late Lillian Hoffman. He was the widower of Johnnie Ann Beard Smoak. He was a member of Edisto Baptist Church. He was a retired plantation manager and managed several large plantations over his lifetime. He served in the U.S. Air Force and loved hunting, fishing and gardening.

Mr. William James Heyward, 45, of Bamberg, died Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Providence Hospital. Funeral arrangements will be available at a later date.
