Funeral services for Deloris M. Cunningham, 94, of Branchville, were held Thursday, April 19, 2012 in Orangeburg. Deloris M. Cunningham, daughter of the late Isiah Bowman and Martha Johnson, was born December 19, 1917, in Cordova. She was educated in the public schools of Orangeburg County. She was a member of Evening Star Baptist Church, where she served on the Usher Board, Nurses Unit and Willing Workers. She was employed with Beyer Paper Company until she retired.

Norman Kirsch, Jr., 80, of 115 Sydney Court, husband of Sandra Beall Riddle Kirsch, passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 at Heardmont Nursing Home in Elberton, GA. A graveside service was held Saturday at South End Cemetery in Bamberg. Born November 30, 1931 in Bamberg, he was the son of the late Norman Kirsch, Sr. and the late Chloe Berry Kirsch. He was a 1952 graduate of the Citadel and a graduate of University of South Carolina's Pharmacy School. He was a retired Pharmacist and member of Dickson Memorial United Methodist Church.

Mr. James Herman “Toot” Sanders, 84, born in Bamberg County, died peacefully on Thursday, April 19, 2012. Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 25, 2012, at Greater Sweet Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Govan.
