The funeral for Ms. Latrell Breeland, 34, of Barnwell, was held on Sunday, November 6, 2011, in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Olar. Ms. Breeland was born June 27, 1977, to Daniel and Jannie Mae Williams-Breeland in Allendale. At an early age she joined Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Ulmer, and was educated in the Bamberg School District 2 (Denmark-Olar schools).

Roger Marion Field, 89, of Orangeburg, died Thursday, November 3, 2011, at the Regional Medical Center. He was a resident of Longwood Plantation Assisted Living. Funeral services were held Monday, November 7, 2011.

Funeral services for Mr. Carlis Walker of Denmark were held Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Sunshine Baptist Church, in Blackville. Mr. Walker departed this life Tuesday, November 1, 2011, in Bamberg.
