Eugenia Hutto Bellamy, 81,
of Bamberg, died Sunday,
February 27, 2011, at Bamberg
County Hospital in Bamberg.

held Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at Trinity United
Methodist Church in Bamberg. She was born September 2,
1929, in Everglade City, Fla., a
daughter of the late William
Hutto and the late Mattie Mae Garrick.

graduate of Newberry College.
He retired from Aiken County Dept. of Social Services in 2003.

John Wesley ‘Duck’ Crider
Sr., 89, of Bamberg, husband of
Doris O. Crider, died Tuesday,
February 22, 2011, at Bamberg
County Hospital. Funeral services were held Thursday, February 24, 2011, at Spring Branch
Baptist Church. Born September 25, 1921,
in Bamberg, he was a son of the
late Oscar Crider and the late
Mattie Lee Goodwin Crider. He
was a member of Spring Branch
Baptist Church, Bamberg. He
retired after more than 50 years
of farming.

‘Buck’ Folks Sr., 84, of New
York City, and formerly of
Bamberg, was held Saturday, February 26, 2011, at
Rizer Chapel United Methodist
Church in Ehrhardt. Mr. Folks Sr. died Friday,
February 18, 2011, at St. Lukes
Hospital in New York after an
extended illness. He was born September 17,
1926, a son of the late John and
Carrie Folks.

County, Dr. Harold L. Hinnant
Sr., affectionately known as
‘Doc’, died Friday, February
25, 2011, at his home on St.
Simons Island after an extended
illness. He was born and raised in
Bamberg. A memorial service was
held Tuesday, March 1, 2011. Burial was a graveside
ceremony next to his mother,

Methodist Church, Midway. Ms. Jones died Friday,
February 18, 2011, in Bamberg
County Hospital. She was born October 30,
1951, to the late Leroy Archie
and Rose Emma Harrison in
Bamberg County.

Capernaum Baptist Church in
Denmark. Mr. Washington died
Saturday, February 19, 2011, at
his residence. James Washington was
born to the late Rufus and Vera
Williams Washington on March
21, 1940, in Denmark. He
attended Capernaum Baptist
Church in Denmark all of his life.
The funeral for Ms. Sarah
Williams, 70, of Ehrhardt, was
held Monday, February 28, 2011, at Union
Baptist Church in Bamberg. Ms. Williams died
Wednesday, February 23, 2011,
at Palmetto Health Richland in
Columbia. She was born May 2, 1940,
a daughter of the late Bennie
Lee and Mattie Grimes
Williams. She was a member of
Union Baptist Church since her
youth.
