Mrs. Carolyn Dantzler Campbell, 72, of Branchville, died
Wednesday, November 24, 2010,
after a brief illness. Mrs. Campbell was born in
Pamplico, a daughter of the late
Dossie R. Gaskins Sr. and Lillian
Ruth Gaskins. She was a member
of the Branchville United
Methodist Church, a retired LPN
who worked in several area nursing
homes. Funeral services were
conducted Saturday, November 27,
2010, at Branchville
United Methodist Church.
Funeral services for Mrs.
Agnes Donaldson, 68, of Atlanta
and formerly of Blackville, were
held Friday, November 26,
2010, at Sun Shine Baptist Church
in Blackville. Mrs. Donaldson died
Tuesday, November 22, 2010, at
Dekalb Medical Center in Decatur, Ga.
Born March 31, 1942, in Blackville, she was the daughter of
the late Jonnie and Annie Lee Reed Williams and attended the public
schools of Barnwell County.
Meghan Diane Hawley, 23, of
Orangeburg, was born in Fulda,
Germany, on May 8, 1987, while
her father was serving in the U.S.
Army. Meghan is survived by her
father and mother, Jeff and Lita
Hawley Chase, and a sister,
Melissa Hawley, all of Orangeburg. A memorial service was held
at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Orangeburg, SC Saturday, November 27, 2010.
Jacqueline Lutz Kelly, 73,
died Tuesday night, November 23,
2010, at her residence near
Norway, following an extended
illness. Mrs. Kelly was born March
28, 1937, in Gastonia, N.C. She
was the daughter of the late Fred
Alfred and Lillian Biggerstaff Lutz.
She was a former line mechanic for
the Sunbeam Corp. She was the
widow of Frank Kelly and was a
Jehovah's Witness. Funeral services were held Saturday, November 27, 2010.
Funeral services for Mr.
James D. Nunamaker, 73, were
conducted Tuesday at Grace United
Methodist Church.
Funeral services for Mrs. Florine
Kearse Washington Trapp, 57, of
Trenton, N.J., and formerly of
Bamberg, were held Saturday, November 27, 2010, at St.
John Baptist Church in Bamberg. Mrs. Trapp departed this life on
Saturday, November 20, 2010, at Capital Health Systems in Trenton,
N.J. She was born July 15, 1953, in
Bamberg, a daughter of the late
McKinley Kearse and Florine
Washington. Florine was educated in the
public schools of Bamberg.
Graveside services for Mary
Lou Bell Watkins Whittle, 77, of
Branchville, were held Tuesday,
November 30, 2010, at the Hunters Chapel Baptist Church
Cemetery. Mrs. Whittle died November 27,
2010, at Palmetto Health Richland
Hospital in Columbia. She was born October 28, 1933
in Graceville, Fla., the daughter of the
late Wilburn D. Bell and the late
Louise Peacock Bell. She enjoyed
gardening, fishing, camping,
crabbing, traveling, helping others
and visiting at the nursing home. She
was a member of the Hunters Chapel
Baptist Church in Bamberg.
Funeral services for Rudell
McFadden Zeigler, 79, of Harleyville,
were held Saturday, November 27, 2010, at St. Daniel
United Methodist Church in Harleyville.
