Kenneth Dean Brown, 68, of Bamberg, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, October 13, 2010, after a long bout with cancer. He was born September 17, 1942, in Bamberg County, the son of the late Lewis Fonzie Brown Sr. and the late Gladys Dyches Brown.

Mrs. Harvey was born June 29, 1943, in Hampton County, a daughter of the late George Irwin and Mary Crosby Chesser.

Gladys Dorothy Bishop Kirkland, 94, of Bamberg, died Friday, October 15, 2010, at UniHealth Post Acute Care. Graveside services were held Sunday, October 17, 2010, in Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery in Ehrhardt. Mrs. Kirkland was born September 7, 1916, in Ehrhardt to the late Marvin Bishop and the late Biddie Carter Bishop.
