Funeral services for Mrs. Gwendolyn Bloom, 43, of Bamberg, were held Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Eden Baptist Church in Bamberg. Mrs. Bloom died Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at Bamberg County Hospital. She was born February 10, 1967, to Mary Stokes and Willie James Robinson.

Mrs. Idella Washington Brooks, 92, of Denmark, died Saturday, September 25, 2010, in the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. Funeral services were held Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Capernaum Missionary Baptist Church in Denmark. Mrs. Brooks, daughter of the late Samuel and Louvenia Washington, was born June 23, 1918, in Bamberg County.

The funeral for Mrs. Virginia R. McCrimmon, 62, of Brooklyn, N.Y., formerly of Holly Hill, were held Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at Briner Christian Church (DOC) in Holly Hill. Mrs. McCrimmon was born in Holly Hill, the daughter of the late Wayman Reaves and Mrs. Ollie Mae Reaves.

Funeral services for Mr. Richard "Ricky" Lee Robinson Sr., 54 of Orangeburg were held Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at Cornerstone Community Church. Mr. Robinson, a son of the late Daniel Robinson Sr. and Viola Nelson Robinson, was born September 8, 1956, in Orangeburg.

The funeral for Mr. Tony Bryce Salley, 44, of Orangeburg, were held Saturday, October 2, 2010, at Glover's Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Salley died Sunday, September 26, 2010, at his home following a brief illness. He was born September 9, 1966, a son of the late J. C. Salley and Eartha Mae Salley James.

Mr. William Lewis Turner, 90, of Orangeburg passed away Monday, September 27, 2010, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. He was a resident of The Oaks for the past eight years. He was born September 28, 1919, in Denmark, a son of the late Fred and Martha Turner. Funeral services were held Thursday, September 30, 2010, at Bethel Park United Methodist Church.
