Mrs. Alice O. Fulmer, 74, of Springfield, died Sunday, September 12, 2010, at Laurel Baye Health Center in Williston. Funeral services were held Thursday, September 16, 2010, at Samaria Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Fulmer was born November 20, 1935, in Orangeburg County to the late Joseph Odom Sr. and Christa Bell Edwards Odom.

Lillie Mae Garvin, 89, of Orangeburg, died on Thursday, September 16, 2010, while a patient at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 20, 2010, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Orangeburg. Ms. Lillie Mae Garvin was born in Orangeburg County on April 23, 1921. She was an only child born to Essie R. and Fulton Garvin.
