Funeral services for Ms. Willie Mae Gardner, 77, of UniHealth Post Acute Care, Orangeburg, were held Thursday, August 26, 2010. She was Born in Bamberg County to the late John and Allie Williams Folk on August 4, 1941.

Mrs. Kathleen ‘Bookie’ Kearse, 57, of Orangeburg, formerly of Ehrhardt, died Sunday, August 22, 2010, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. Funeral services were held Friday, August 27, 2010, at Three Mile Creek Christian Church in Ehrhardt. She was born August 26, 1952, to Elizabeth Wright Ruth and the late Leon Wiggins.

Graveside services for Mrs. Lucille Still Lee, 91, of Denmark, were held Thursday, August 26, 2010, at Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Barnwell. Mrs. Lee died Monday, August 23, 2010, in an Orangeburg hospital. She was born September 22, 1918, in Govan, a daughter of the late Joseph E. and Sally Ray Still.

The funeral for Mr. Oscar J. LeGree, 85, of Bamberg, was held Sunday, August 29, 2010, at Union Baptist Church in Ehrhardt. He died Monday, August 23, 2010, at University Hospital in Augusta, Ga. Deacon LeGree, beloved son, husband, father and grandfather, was the son of the late Albert LeGree and Marie Tatum LeGree. He was born on March 20, 1925.

Ruby Mixon Murdaugh, 88, of Denmark and widow of Ive Murdaugh, died Friday, August 27, 2010, in Bamberg Nursing Center. Mrs. Murdaugh was born January 26, 1922, in Fairfax, a daughter of the late Euly Roy and Pearl Beatrice Brown Mixon. She was a member of the First Baptist church of Denmark. Funeral services were held Sunday, August 29, 2010.
