Mr. Marvin Sharpe Bell, 71,
of Ehrhardt, entered into eternal
rest on Friday, August 6, 2010,
at Colleton Medical Center after
an extended illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 10, 2010,
at the Bamberg Church of God. Mr. Bell was born May 8,
1939, in Bamberg. He was the son of the late Rochie Bell, Sr.
and the late Can Sadie Sharp Bell.

Giles ‘Jugie’ Brabham, 76, of
Toms River, N.J., formerly of
Olar, were held Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at
Ebenezer United Methodist
Church in Olar. Mr. Brabham died Thursday, July 29, 2010.
He was born August 4, 1933, to the late Eric N. and
Cressie Orr Brabham in Bamberg County.
Carlysle Raymond Coker
Jr., 68, of Denmark, died
Monday, August 9, 2010, at
Lexington Medical Center.
Mr. Coker was born April
18, 1942, in Turbeville, a son of
Edith Driggers Coker and the
late Carlysle Raymond Coker Sr. Funeral services were held Wednesday,
August 11, 2010, at First Baptist Church of Denmark.
A graveside service for
James Irvin Jackman, 83, was
held Saturday, August 7, 2010, in Elmwood Memorial
Gardens in Columbia. Mr. Jackman, husband of
the late Ruth Nickel Jackman,
died August 4, 2010. Born June
30, 1927, in Chicago, he was a
son of the late Leon and Martha Cuzzort Jackman.
Mrs. Ocola Robbins Kittrell,
91, of Cope, died Saturday, August
7, 2010, at Aiken Unicare in Aiken.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2010,
at Canaan Baptist Church. Mrs. Kittrell was born April
11, 1919, in Coventon, Ala., a daughter of the late William and
Univay Sasser Robbins.

Myrtle Rumph, 80, of Bamberg,
were held Friday, August
6, 2010. Mrs. Rumph died Thursday,
July 29, 2010, at Laurel Baye
Healthcare in Blackville. Mrs. Rumph was the eldest
child of John and Floral Bell Slater and was born on Sept. 15, 1929.

‘H. B.’ ‘Salley’ Salley Jr., 75, of
Augusta, Ga., were held Friday, August 6, 2010, at Bible
Way Church of Atlas Road, with
burial in Fort Jackson National
Cemetery, Columbia. Mr. Salley was formerly of
Denmark. He died Sunday, August 1, 2010, at the Georgia War Veterans Nursing Home.
Betty Jean Spitler, 71, of
Bamberg, formerly of Donovan,
Ill., passed away on Tuesday,
August 3, 2010, at Palmetto Health
Baptist Hospital in Columbia. Funeral services were held Monday, August 9, 2010. Mrs. Spitler was born January
28, 1939, in Watseka, Ill., a daughter of Ray and Dorothy Winslow Morgan.
Virginia H. Stubbs, 81, of
Denmark, died Saturday, July 31,
2010, at her residence. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 7, 2010, at
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Denmark.
Mrs. Annie Rebecca Seymore
Wright, 82, of Ehrhardt, died
Friday, July 30, 2010. The funeral was held Saturday, August 7, 2010, at
Friendship United Methodist Church. Mrs. Wright was the daughter
of the late Hallie and Annie Glover Seymore.
