Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Bartley, 79, of Irmo, formerly of Bamberg, were held Thursday, July 22, 2010, at Mount Zion United Methodist Church in Bamberg. She was born April 16, 1931, to the late Seward and Marie Simmons Washington in Bamberg and was raised in the home of Minnie Simmons.

Funeral services for Ms. Mattie Lou Drayton, 83, of Denmark, were held Saturday, July 24, 2010, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Lees. Mattie Lou Drayton was born September 16, 1926, in Blackville to the late Artie and Beatrice Reed Brown.

Funeral services for Nettie Roberts, 79, of Cordova, were held Friday, July 23, 2010, at Eden Baptist Church in Bamberg. Born May 3, 1924, to the late Henry and Mamie Sue Halyard Grimes in Bamberg County.
