Johnny C. "Jackie" Boltin, 69, of Cope, died Wednesday, May 12, 2010, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. Funeral services were held Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Bethel Baptist Church in Cope. He was born November 29, 1940, in Orangeburg County, the son of the late John Henry Boltin and the late Allie Mae Stone Boltin.

Gina Rene Johnson Hill, 40, of Bamberg, died Tuesday afternoon, May 11, 2010, in Orangeburg. Funeral services were held Friday, May 14, 2010, at Northgate Baptist Church in Orangeburg. She was born August 3, 1969, in Orangeburg, the daughter of Richard Wayne Johnson and Linda Gaines Johnson.

Mrs. Virginia Christiansen Main, 82, beloved wife of Jimmie Dyches Main passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2010, in the Bamberg County Nursing Home. Mrs. Main was born in Elko, VA. On November 26, 1927. She was the daughter of the late Albert and Ellen Jacobsen Christiansen. Funeral services were held Friday, May 14, 2010, at the First Baptist Church of Olar.

A Memorial Service of Death and Resurrection was held for Ms. Gail McMillan, 58, of Bamberg, Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Bethel United Methodist Church.

Mrs. LuVern Nimmons, 93, of Bamberg, died Friday, May 14, 2010, at the residence of her daughter, Catherine in Barnwell. Funeral services will be announced at a later date.
