Cora Porter Grant, 92, of
Ehrhardt, were held Thursday,
March 25, 2010, at Zion
Pentecostal Rescue House of
Prayer for All Nations Inc.
Ehrhardt. She was the daughter of
the late Henry Dokes Porter
and Maude Wright Porter.
Catherine Holman Turner
Henriksen, 94, of Hickory,
N.C., died March 19, 2010, at
Catawba Valley Medical
Center. Graveside services were
held on March 27, 2010, at Greenlawn Memorial
Park, in Wilmington, N.C. She was born on May 7,
1915, the daughter of the late
Martha Darley Riley and
Frederick Jennings Turner of
Denmark.
Funeral services for Mr.
James Lott, 65, of
Orangeburg, and formerly of
Denmark, were held Monday, March 29, 2010. He was born April 6,
1944, in Bamberg to the late
Blanche Lott Nimmons.
Mrs. Rose Patricia
McAlhany Lyons, 71, entered
into eternal rest Tuesday,
March 23, 2010, at her
residence in Smoaks. Funeral services were
held Friday, March 26, 2010. Mrs. Lyons was born
November 8, 1938 in Smoaks and was a daughter of the late
Frank and Nell McAlhany.
Marilyn Harrison Ray, 68,
of Denmark, wife of C. J. Ray Jr.,
passed away Sunday, March 28,
2010, at her residence.
A memorial service was
held Tuesday, March
30, 2010, at the First
Presbyterian Church of
Denmark. Mrs. Ray was born in Olar
on August 19, 1941. She was the
daughter of the late Woodrow
and Doris Still Harrison.
Mary Key Rentz, 90, of
Branchville, died Wednesday,
March 24, 2010, at Bamberg
County Hospital after a short
illness. The funeral was held Saturday, March 27, 2010,
in Zion United Methodist Church, Branchville. She was born December 30,
1919, in Williams to the late
Warren E. Key and the late Nellie Adams Key.
Jesse Carter Taber, 58, of
Goose Creek, passed away
Friday, March 26, 2010, in
Bamberg County Hospital. Mr. Taber was born August
1, 1951, in Orangeburg, the son
of the late George Peterkin Taber
and the late Lydia Frances Carter. A memorial service was
held Monday, March 29, 2010 in Bamberg.

Clary Mae Williams, 73, of
Orangeburg, were held Monday, March 29, 2010, at
Mount Calvary Baptist Church
in Orangeburg. Mrs. Clary Mae Ayers
Williams, daughter of the late
Everlyner Ayers and Bennie
Ayers, was born May 15, 1936, in Ehrhardt.
