Mrs. Ellie M. Rushton Bell, 77, Bamberg, entered into rest Thursday, March 18, 2010. A memorial service was held Sunday, March 21, 2010. Mrs. Bell was born in Aiken County, the daughter of the late Stanmore Rushton Sr. and Callie Pearl Rushton.

Mr. Johnny Melvin Davis, 53, of Norway, died Thursday, March 18, 2010. The funeral was held Sunday, March 21, 2010. Mr. Davis was born in Orangeburg, son of the late Melvin Legrand and Lila Tyler Davis, and stepson of the late James L. “Shockey” Jeffcoat.

Funeral services for Mr. James W. Jordan Sr., 70, of Denmark, were held Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at Spires Chapel Baptist Church in Norway. Mr. Jordan was the son of the late Eulia Mae Jordan and Sam Jamison Sr.

Funeral services for Miss Fantasia C. Roberts, 18, of Bamberg, were held Friday, March 19, 2010, in the Bamberg-Ehrhardt Middle School Gym, Bamberg. She was born December 12, 1991, to Joyce A. Roberts and the late Anthony Mack. She was raised in the home of her maternal grandparents, James and Sally Swan of Bamberg.
