Funeral services for Joseph Atterberry, 72, of Denmark, were held Monday, March 8, 2010, at Rome Baptist Church in Denmark. Born February 28, 1938, to the late Brooker T. and Bernice Atterberry, he attended the public schools of Bamberg County and joined Rome Baptist Church at an early age.

Graveside services for Bobby Eugene Bessinger, 75, of Bamberg, were held Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at South End Cemetery, Bamberg. Mr. Bessinger died March 3, 2010. He was born February 17, 1935, in Bamberg to the late Willie Bessinger and the late Onie Davis Bessinger.

Ada Mae Fogle Felder, 91, widow of James Lloyd Felder, formerly of St. George, died Sunday, February 28, 2010, at Bamberg County Hospital. Graveside funeral services were held Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Rigby Cemetery, Reevesville. Mrs. Felder was born March 25, 1918, in Cope, a daughter of the late Donald Barton and Wilhelmina Brickle Fogle.

Kenneth Lamar "Tunk" Folk, 64, of Olar, died Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at Barnwell County Hospital in Barnwell. Funeral services were held Saturday, March 6, 2010 in Bamberg. Born September 23, 1945, in Cocoa Beach, Fla., he was the son of the late Eugene Folk and the late Ethel Williams Folk.

Funeral services for Mr. Darryl A. Manigault, 47, of Bamberg were held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, in the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Midway. He was born October 8, 1962, to Henrietta Manigault in Bamberg. He was raised in the home of his grandparents, the late Henry F. (Honey Man) and Charlese Manigault of the Midway community, Bamberg.

Funeral services for Mr. Malcolm Odom, 67, of Denmark, were held Saturday, March 6, 2010, at Capernaum Baptist Church.

Mrs. Daisy J. Smoak of Bamberg, died at the Bamberg County Memorial Hospital, Sunday, March 7, 2010, following a brief illness. Funeral services were held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Bamberg.
